1 Introduction

Thank you for choosing Belasis. This is our Privacy Policy. Before we get into the details, we would like to clarify some of the fundamental principles behind it. These principles are important to us because we know they are important to you.

The Privacy Policy is here to do three things:

1. Explain how we use the information you share with us in order to build a great product and give you a great experience with it;

2. Ensure you understand what information we collect with your permission and what we do – and do not do – with it;

3. Hold ourselves accountable for protecting your rights and your privacy under this policy.

All information we collect is related to the provision of Belasis services and its features.

In general, there are two categories of information we collect: 1) those we must have for you to use Belasis; and 2) those we can use to provide you with additional features and enhanced experiences if you choose to share that information.

The first category includes:

• Registration information, which includes your name, date of birth, address, and other information you provide when you sign up for Belasis.

• Generic, non-specific location, derived from your IP address. Our licenses to provide you with some content require a specific location, so we need to know what country you are in. This also allows us to make suggestions based on your general location.

• Your interactions with the Service. This allows us to make recommendations and suggest relevant content. You can decide whether or not to share this information with friends, followers, or the public.

• Technical and sensor information needed to operate Belasis. This includes the type of browser and device you use, screen data, and information from your device's accelerometer and gyroscope sensors. This allows you to control Belasis.

The second category includes information that allows us to offer additional features. We never receive any of the following information unless you expressly choose to share it with us. It is as simple as that. Here are some examples:

• Your specific location: we will never collect or use your device's specific location without first obtaining your explicit permission. This information allows us to create collaborative experiences (only with people who have also given permission), and make even better recommendations about popular content.

• Your photographs: we will only access images that you specifically choose and we will never scan or import your photo library or camera roll. This allows you to choose individual photos to change your profile picture or the picture of your professionals. You can stop sharing photos and revoke access at any time.

• Your contacts: we will never scan or import your contacts unless you ask us to do so. If you choose to do so, we will only use your contact information to help you find friends or contacts who use Belasis.

• Your microphone: we will never access or use your microphone unless you give us specific permission. This could allow you to control Belasis with your voice, and you will always be able to disable microphone access.

The distinction between these two categories is important. Information in the first category is what you need to provide to us to use Belasis. By agreeing to our Privacy Policy, you give us the right to collect this information and use it for the described purposes. Information in the second category is information we will only collect if you explicitly give us permission to do so in the future. For this second category of information, we will ask for your permission before accessing it for the first time, describe how we will use it if you give us permission, use it only for the purpose we described, and you will always be able to change your mind and revoke permission. Accepting our Privacy Policy does not mean you grant us permission to access or use information in the second category; we are just explaining to you that, one day, we may ask for that permission.

We will be clear with you about how and where we might share information.

In some contexts, we will share certain information, for example, like most services, if you sign up for Belasis through a third party like Facebook or a mobile carrier; we share some information with them and they share some information with us in order to enable your account. And we also share de-identified information with our health and wellness industry partners to help them understand how the content they license to us performs, with marketing partners who help us with promotional efforts, and with advertisers who allow us to offer a free service. There may also be times when you want to share information. For example, when you schedule appointments, you might want them to be visible to others… and you might not. Likewise, you can ask us to share information (such as your email address) with partners who may want to directly send you news and promotional offers, but you can also revoke this permission at any time.

Throughout this Privacy Policy, we refer to the Belasis Service or Service. These terms are defined in our Terms and Conditions of Use .

2 Key highlights of what you are consenting to

By using or interacting with the Service, you are authorizing the following activities:

1. the use of cookies and other technologies;

2. the transfer of your information outside the country in which you live;

3. the collection, use, sharing, and other processing of your information, including for advertising-related purposes (as described in the rest of this Privacy Policy, so keep reading!); and

4. the public availability of your information and controls over such information as described in Information Sharing.

In each case, you consent to the processing of data by the entities described in this Privacy Policy, including the Belasis entity, as data controller, indicated at the bottom of this document (collectively, “Belasis”, “we”, “us”, “our”). In the Your Preferences section, we describe the relevant controls and settings associated with your Belasis account. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, do not use the Service.

3 The information we collect

We may collect and store the following information:

3.1 Registration data

When you sign up for the Service, we may request information such as your username, password, email address, date of birth, gender, address, zip code, and country. If you connect to the Service using credentials from a Third-Party Application (as defined in the Terms and Conditions of Use) (for example, Facebook), you authorize us to collect your authentication information, such as your username and encrypted access credentials. We may also collect other information available on or through your Third-Party Application account, including, for example, your name, profile picture, country, hometown, email address, date of birth, gender, names and profile pictures of friends, and networks.

You can also choose to add other information to your profile voluntarily, such as your mobile phone number and carrier.

3.2 Usage, log data, and cookies

When you use or interact with the Service, we may use a variety of technologies that collect information about how the Service is accessed and used. This information may include:

1. information about your subscription type and your interactions with the Service, such as features you use most, other Belasis users, Third-Party Applications and ads, products, and services that are offered, targeted to, or made available on or through the Service;

2. details of queries you make and the date and time of your request;

3. User Content (as defined in the Terms and Conditions of Use) that you post to the Service, including messages you send and/or receive through the Service;

4. technical data, which may include URL information, cookie data, your IP address, the types of devices you are using to access or connect to the Belasis Service, the unique device ID, device attributes, the type of network connection (e.g., WiFi, 3G, LTE) and provider, network, and device performance, browser type, language, information enabling digital rights management, operating system, and Belasis application version.

5. mobile sensor data generated by motion or orientation (e.g., accelerometer or gyroscope).

You may integrate your Belasis account with Third-Party Applications. If you do so, we may receive similar information related to your interactions with the Service on the Third-Party Application, as well as information about your publicly available activity on the Third-Party Application. This includes, for example, your Facebook “likes” and posts. We may use cookies and other technologies to collect this information; you can get more information about such use in the Cookies and other technologies information section of this Privacy Policy.

3.3 Your mobile device

We may provide features that rely on the use of additional information on your mobile device or require access to certain services on your mobile device that will enhance your Belasis experience, but are not mandatory to use the Service. (In other words, information that falls into the second category described in the Introduction to this Policy.) For example, we may allow you to upload photos to your profile, connect with friends, or let you use voice commands to control the Service. When you grant us access, you are not granting unlimited access to this information, nor will we access specific information without your permission. Rather, before accessing each type of information listed in this section or these features of your mobile device, we will ask for your permission. If you give us this permission, we will collect the information for the purposes specified at the time we ask for your permission. You are not required to give us such permission to use Belasis, and acceptance of this Privacy Policy does not mean you have granted us permission to access this information.

In particular:

• Photos and camera: we will not access your photos or camera without first obtaining your explicit permission and we will never scan or import your photo library or camera roll. If you give us permission to access photos or your camera, we will only use the images you specifically choose to share with us. (You can use our app to select the photo or photos you choose to share, but we will never import the photos you review, except those you explicitly share.).

• Location: we will not gather or use the specific location of your mobile device (using, for example, GPS or Bluetooth) without first obtaining your explicit permission. And if you choose to share location information, but later change your mind, you can always stop sharing. Note that this does not include the IP address. We will continue to use your IP address as described in Section 3.2 above, to determine, for example, what country you are in and comply with our licensing agreements.

• Voice: we will not access your microphone without first obtaining your explicit permission. You can always disable microphone access.

• Contacts: we will not scan or import contacts stored on your phone without first obtaining your explicit permission. We will only use contact information to help you find friends or contacts who use Belasis if you choose to do so, and we will not use contact information for any other purpose without first obtaining your separate explicit permission. Local law may require you to seek consent from your contacts to provide their personal information to Belasis, which may use that information for the purposes specified in this Privacy Policy.

3.4 Widget Data

Other websites may integrate Belasis widgets, such as Belasis Pay. When you access a website with an integrated Belasis widget, we may receive certain information, including information about the web page you accessed. Belasis and the widget can recognize you, and the widget can be used to show personalized content or ads. We know when you interact with a widget, and websites containing the widgets may receive this information.

3.5 Payment Data

If you sign up for a Trial (as defined in the Terms and Conditions of Use), purchase any of our Paid Subscriptions (as defined in the Terms and Conditions of Use), or make other purchases through the Service, your credit card information (such as card type and expiration date) and other financial data we need to process your payment may be collected and stored by us and/or the payment processors we work with. We may also collect some limited information, such as your zip code, mobile number, and transaction history information, all of which are necessary to provide the Service. In addition, payment processors generally provide us with some limited information related to you, such as a unique token that allows you to make additional purchases using stored information, your card type, expiration date, and certain digits of your card number.

If you choose to pay by invoice, Belasis may need to collect and store additional information, such as your name, date of birth, and phone number, and provide it to the payment processors we work with to issue invoices, enable credit checks, and send your invoices.

BY ACCEPTING THE PRIVACY POLICY, YOU EXPRESSLY AUTHORIZE BELASIS TO USE AND SHARE WITH OTHER COMPANIES IN THE BELASIS GROUP, AS WELL AS WITH CERTAIN TRUSTED BUSINESS PARTNERS AND SERVICE PROVIDERS, WHO MAY BE LOCATED OUTSIDE YOUR COUNTRY OF RESIDENCE (INCLUDING COUNTRIES THAT DO NOT PROVIDE THE SAME LEVEL OF PROTECTION FOR THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA AS YOUR COUNTRY OF RESIDENCE), THE INFORMATION PROVIDED BY YOU TO BELASIS. YOU CONFIRM AND AGREE TO THE IMPORTANCE OF SHARING SUCH INFORMATION RELATED TO THE PROVISION OF THE BELASIS SERVICE AND ALSO AGREE THAT, BY ACCEPTING THIS PRIVACY POLICY, WHERE APPLICABLE AND TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, YOU AUTHORIZE BELASIS TO SHARE THE PAYMENT INFORMATION PROVIDED BY YOU WITH ANY COMPANY IN THE BELASIS GROUP AND TO ANY TRUSTED BUSINESS PARTNERS AND SERVICE PROVIDERS, WHO MAY BE LOCATED OUTSIDE YOUR COUNTRY OF RESIDENCE, FOR THE EXCLUSIVE PURPOSE OF ENABLING PAYMENT FOR THE SERVICE CONTRACTED BY YOU. THIS CONSENT IS PROVIDED FOR THE ENTIRE PERIOD OF YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH BELASIS.

3.6 Sweepstakes, contests, and surveys

From time to time, we may offer you the opportunity to participate in promotions such as sweepstakes, contests, offers, and/or surveys (“Special Promotions”) through the Service. A Special Promotion may be governed by a privacy policy and/or terms and conditions that are in addition to, or separate from, this Privacy Policy and the Terms and Conditions of Use. If the provisions of the Special Promotion's privacy policy or terms and conditions conflict with this Privacy Policy or the Terms and Conditions of Use, the additional or separate provisions shall prevail. If you participate in a Special Promotion, we may request certain information in addition to what is stated in this Privacy Policy, including personal information. This additional information may be combined with other account information and may be used and shared as described in this Privacy Policy.

3.7 Belasis service providers and partners

We may also receive information about you from our service providers and partners, which we use to personalize your experience on Belasis, to measure ad quality and responses to ads, and to display ads that are most likely to be relevant to you. We also use this information as explained in the How we use the information we collect section below.

4 How we use the information we collect

In accordance with the permissions you give us to collect information, we may use it, including your personal information:

1. to provide, personalize, and improve your experience with the Service and the products, services, and advertisements (including regarding third-party products and services) made available on or off the Service (including on other websites you access), for example, by providing personalized or localized content, recommendations, features, and ads on or off the Service;

2. to ensure the technical functionality of the Service, develop new products and services, and analyze your use of the Service, including your interaction with applications, ads, products, and services made available, targeted, or offered through the Service.

3. to communicate with you for purposes related to the Service or research, including through emails, notifications, text messages, or other messages you agree to receive;

4. to communicate with you, either directly or through one of our partners, for marketing and promotional purposes by email, notifications, or other messages, in compliance with any permissions you may have granted us (for example, through your Belasis account settings); in the Your Preferences section below, we inform you about the controls you can use to opt out of receiving certain messages;

5. to, if you explicitly give us permission, use your mobile phone number to send you informational, marketing, and promotional text messages using an automatic dialing system; you are not required to provide consent as a condition to register for Belasis services;

6. to enable and promote the Service and other services or products, whether on or off the Service, including features and content of the Service, and products and services made available through the Service;

7. to process your payment, prevent or detect fraud;

8. to enforce this Privacy Policy, the Terms and Conditions of Use, and any other terms to which you have agreed, including to protect the rights, property, or safety of Belasis, its users, or any other person, or the copyrighted content of the Service;

9. to provide you with features, information, ads, and other content that are influenced by your location and your location relative to other Belasis users; and

10. as otherwise informed in this Privacy Policy.

5 Information sharing

This section describes how information collected or generated through your use of the Belasis service may be shared by you or by us.

5.1 Your sharing

5.1.1 General

The Belasis Service is a social service that offers many ways to find, like, and share content. We encourage you to take advantage of these social features with others on the Service.

Your name and/or username, profile picture, who you follow, who follows you, and your Belasis user profile will always be publicly available.

Your activity on the Service (for example, when you log a new ticket or package) and User Content you post, upload, and/or contribute to the Service are made publicly available by definition. Your activity on the Service (for example, what you listen to, the music you share) will not be displayed on the Service, and will not be accessible by other users who have purchased the Belasis Service. In Your Preferences below, we describe the controls you can use, along with other relevant settings associated with your Belasis account, to limit the sharing of your information.

Remember that certain information is always publicly available, meaning it can be accessed by Third-Party Applications through our APIs and developer tools. Based on your permissions, some additional information may be shared with Third-Party Applications and with others through Third-Party Applications. For example, you can use your settings to control whether Belasis activity is posted to Facebook. Likewise, you can consent to provide Third-Party Applications access to your email address, subscription status, location, date of birth, or similar information upon request.

We may use your public information to promote the Service and help others find and follow you and/or find and follow your Belasis content, including through Facebook and other Third-Party Applications, and on websites that integrate Belasis widgets. Your information will not be used to inform others, including within the Service, by email, and through Facebook and Third-Party Applications, about your use of the Service (for example, if you joined Belasis or about activity related to a Belasis profile, such as adding or removing appointments or adding a client to the database).

With your explicit permission, we may inform other users about your location. We may offer you the ability to share this information to create shared experiences.

5.1.2 Third-Party Applications

If you connect your Belasis account to a Third-Party Application, Belasis may automatically share your activity and activity-related stories with that service, including the content you consume. You understand and agree that such information may be attributed to your account on the Third-Party Application and may be published on such service. Although this information may be automatically shared by definition, we inform you about the controls you can use to limit the sharing of this information in the Your Preferences section below. The Third-Party Application may also provide similar controls.

If you connect to a Third-Party Application with your Belasis account, that Third-Party Application may have access to certain information, such as saved content and activity. With your permission, we may also share additional information, such as your email address, subscription status, location, or date of birth with these Third-Party Applications.

Belasis also allows you to share a specific item of content or individually, with Third-Party Applications, other third-party services, other Belasis users, and others.

You understand and agree that the use of information by a Third-Party Application collected from you (or as authorized by you) is governed by the Third-Party Application's privacy policies and your settings on the respective service, and the use of such information by Belasis is governed by this Privacy Policy and your Belasis account settings.

5.1.3 Support Community

When you register for a Belasis Support Account in the Belasis Support Community, we will ask you to create a specific username for the Belasis Support Community, which will be publicly displayed to anyone who accesses the Belasis Support Community. If you choose not to create such username, your Belasis username or Facebook screen name will be publicly displayed when you post User Content.

5.2 Sharing by Belasis

5.2.1 Marketing and advertising

We may share information with advertising partners to send you promotional communications about Belasis or to show you more personalized content and to understand how users interact with ads. The information we share is in an unidentifiable format (for example, through the use of hashing) that does not personally identify you.

Please see the Information about cookies, other technologies, and third-party data collection section below for information about cookies and other technologies we and third parties use to serve more relevant ads to you and your options.

5.2.2 Service providers and others

We may, from time to time, share your information with service providers to perform functions and process user data, and help deliver our Services, consistent with this Privacy Policy. For example, we work with service providers to host our Belasis Support Community Site and with analytical providers to help us understand the use of our Services. When a third party processes user data on our behalf (for example, a hosting service provider), they will be subject to security and confidentiality obligations consistent with this Privacy Policy and applicable law. When a third party processes user data on its own behalf, its processing will be subject to its own Privacy Policy and applicable law.

5.2.3 Rightsholders

The Belasis service allows you to manage your business entirely online. Belasis shares information with rightsholders who license this content to Belasis. The data Belasis shares is anonymized and does not directly identify you unless you choose to share your personal information.

5.2.4 Certain Belasis partners

If you access the Belasis Service through an offer you received or purchased from a third party, such as your mobile network operator, we may also share information with that third party about your use of the Belasis Service, such as whether and to what extent you used the offer, activated a Belasis account, or actively used the Service.

5.2.5 Other sharing

Additionally, we may also share your information with third parties for these limited purposes:

• to allow a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of our assets;

• to respond to a legal process (for example, a court order or subpoena), if we believe, in good faith, that it is necessary to do so; to comply with mandatory applicable law requirements; to protect the safety of any person; to protect the rights and property of Belasis, including to enforce the Terms and Conditions of Use and any other terms you have agreed to; and to address fraud, security, or technical issues;

• to academic researchers for purposes including statistical analysis and academic study, but only in an unidentifiable format;

• to publish unidentifiable or aggregated information about the use of the Belasis Service; and

• to allow other companies in the Belasis group to use your information as specified in this Privacy Policy.

6 Your preferences

We provide settings to allow you to choose which communications you receive from us, manage your public information, and set your sharing preferences. However, as explained in the Your Sharing section, certain information may not be publicly available to others and other information will be made publicly available to others by definition. And if you share information with a Third-Party Application, that info will be visible on Belasis, regardless of how you have configured your privacy settings.

To change whether certain information is publicly available, you can adjust the settings in your account. View instructions for adjusting relevant settings on the Belasis website.

Information that is publicly available may be used, reshared, or linked by others on the Service or the Internet, so use Belasis with caution and be mindful of your settings. Also, remember that other information added to your profile may include personal information, such as your username, however, this does not allow others to find you within the Belasis Service or other services.

7 Transfer to other countries

Belasis transfers, processes, and stores information about our users on servers located in a number of countries. Accordingly, Belasis may share your information with other companies in the Belasis group to perform the activities specified in this Privacy Policy. Belasis may also subcontract processing to, or share your information with, third parties located in countries other than your country of origin. Your personal information may therefore be subject to privacy laws that are different from those in your country of residence. Information collected in the European Economic Area (“EEA”) and Switzerland may, for example, be transferred to and processed by third parties identified above located in a country outside the EEA and Switzerland, where you may have fewer legal rights regarding your information. The Belasis group will process your information as described in this Privacy Policy.

We may display third-party advertisements and other content that links to third-party websites. We cannot control or be responsible for the privacy practices and content of third parties. Read their privacy policies to find out how they collect and process your personal information.

9 Security

We are committed to protecting our users' information. Your password protects your user account, so you must use a unique and strong password, limit access to your computer and browser, and log off after using the Belasis Service. Although we take precautions regarding data protection, no security measure is completely secure and we do not guarantee the security of user information.

10 Children

The Belasis Service is not directed to children under 13. (In some countries, stricter age limits may apply. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions of Use). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 or below the applicable age limit (the “Age Limit”). If you are below the Age Limit, do not use the Service and do not provide any personal information to us. If you are a parent or guardian of a child below the Age Limit and become aware that your child has provided personal information to Belasis, please contact us at meajuda@belasis.com.br and you may request that your applicable access, rectification, cancellation, and/or objection rights be exercised.

11 Accessing and updating user information

You can view and change much of the information we keep about you through your account and profile pages. If you have questions about your privacy on the Service, this privacy policy, or information we have about you, please contact us at meajuda@belasis.com.br. We will respond to your request within a reasonable period, upon verification of your identity, in accordance with local laws. We recommend that you include documents proving your identity and a clear and precise description of the information you request access to.

12 Changes to the Privacy Policy

Occasionally, we may, at our discretion, make changes to the Privacy Policy. When we make material changes to the Agreements, we will provide you with prominent notice as appropriate under the circumstances, (for example, by displaying a prominent notice within the Service or sending you an email). In some cases, we will inform you in advance, and your continued use of the Service after changes have been made will constitute acceptance of the changes. Therefore, make sure to read any such notice carefully.

13 Information about cookies, other technologies, and third-party data collection

This section describes the use of cookies and other technologies. For more information about how information may be shared by Belasis, please see the Sharing by Belasis section.

13.1 What are cookies and other technologies?

A cookie is a small text file that is placed on your computer, mobile phone, or other device when you access a website. The cookie will help website providers recognize your device the next time you access their website. There are other similar technologies, such as pixel tags (transparent graphic images inserted in a web page or email, which indicate that a page or email has been viewed), web bugs (similar to pixel tags), and web storage, which are used in browser software on desktop computers or mobile devices.

There are also technologies like mobile device identifiers and SDK integrations to help companies recognize your device when you return to an application or otherwise use the service.

13.2 How we use cookies and other technologies

We use session cookies (which expire as soon as you close your web browser) and persistent cookies (which remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them). We use the following types of cookies for the purposes explained in this table:

We use mobile device identifiers and other technologies identified in Section 13.1 for the purposes articulated in this Privacy Policy, for example, to recognize your device when you return to the Belasis app or otherwise use Belasis Services.

13.3 Manage your cookie and other preferences

Many web browsers allow you to manage your preferences. You can set your browser to refuse cookies or delete certain cookies. You can manage other technologies the same way you manage cookies, using your browser preferences.

If you choose to block cookies, doing so may compromise the Belasis Service or prevent certain elements within it from functioning.

There is no accepted standard on how to respond to Do Not Track signals and we do not respond to such signals. We use the AdChoices icon on our website and it may also be displayed on certain targeted ads that we (or a service provider acting on our behalf) send to you based on information about your online activities. You can click on the AdChoices icon or visit aboutads.info to receive more information about the collection and use of information about your online activities for interest-based advertising or to get information on how to opt out of the use of your data for interest-based advertising by companies participating in the Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA). Canadian users can also visit youradchoices.ca. On your mobile device, you may also have a “Limit Ad Tracking” setting (on iOS devices) or an “Opt out of Interest-Based Ads” setting (on Android), which allows you to limit the use of information about your app usage for purposes of serving ads targeted to your interests.

Even if you opt out using the mechanisms above, you may still receive ads when using the Belasis Service.

We work with advertising partners to serve ads on the Belasis Service. One of the services we may use to track activity related to the Service, for example, by placing cookies, is Google Analytics, by Google (Google, Inc., a company headquartered at 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). We may use vendors, including Google, who use first-party cookies (such as the Google Analytics cookie) and third-party cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) together to inform, optimize, and serve ads based on your past visits to our sites, including Google Analytics for Display Advertising. Google provides tools to manage the collection and use of certain information by Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout and by Google Analytics for Display Advertising or Google Display Network using Google's Ads Settings at google.com/settings/ads.
